The poster was done for the Asian Designers & Tong Yang-Tze’s Calligraphy - Ingenuity Follows Nature Poster Exhibition. Designers were invited to combine Ms. Tong’s calligraphy together with design into a poster.

Xū huái ruò gǔ is a phrase originated from Chinese philosopher, Laozi. Meaning: One should learn to be as modest and open-minded as one can be. With a mind that is as open and wide as a valley, and a heart that is as deep and as receptive as an echoing canyon. A mystic valley transformed from Ms. Tong Yang-Tze’s calligraphy “Xū huái”, reflects the belief of Laozi’s philosophy into a visual dimension of nature.
